We had our first Thanksgiving at our house this year. We have so much to be thankful for. We have been blessed with each other, two beautiful daughters, and wonderful families and friends. Our lives have changed so much over the last few years. We could not ask for anything more. Each moment seems to bring something new and exciting.
We started the day with some yummy pancakes made into turkeys. Halena enjoyed them a lot. She always loves when we "play" with her food like this. She decided to keep talking to him as she ate him up.

We started the meal fairly early. Jeff made our first turkey and I made homemade pumpkin dinner rolls and turtle pumpkin pies.

Kara, Rob, and Kaylee came over for our "big" Thanksgiving meal. The girls had a great time together. I think the meal turned out great. The turkey was perfect.
Halena and Kaylee loved the dessert. They could not get enough and
Halena kept asking for it for the next few days. We ate a lot, relaxed a lot, and enjoyed our time together.

We tried to snap a few family photos, but
Halena was more interested in playing. Here are some of our attempts. It was a great Thanksgiving day. Gobble gobble.

So I tried to upload Kara's family picture from her blog to add here and I cannot figure out why it will not let me make it bigger. Sorry!!

Here is a little video of Neala playing on Thanksgiving. She is enjoying how silly her Mommy and Daddy are being trying to get her to talk for the camera. It would have been great for a camera to be on us too, so you can see how ridiculous we looked!
