We had a good time trick or treating this year, although we were sad that Daddy was out of town for the day. He left each of the girls a Halloween balloon and a picture, which got Halena excited for the big day as soon as she woke up.
We started the morning off with a Halloween themed breakfast. Pumpkin eggs, orange applesauce, and bat toast.
Halena wore her beautiful costume that Lori and Keith sent (Thank You!) and Neala was a Pumpkin. Halena wanted to wear her costume all day. As soon as I pulled it out in the morning to let her know we were going to be wearing it for trick or treating she did not want to put it down. The only time that she put it down or took it off was to give Neala's costume a try. 
Here is a little clip of Halena practicing saying Happy Halloween. I could not get her to say trick or treat on the video though. Maybe next time.
We then did a little trick or treating around the neighborhood. Just a few houses, which was perfect for the girls. Neala enjoyed herself snuggled up with Mommy. Halena wanted to hold each piece of candy that she got. It was as if she thought if it went into her basket she would not get it back. Their favorite part was once we got home and they could sort through the candy.

We went trick or treating with Kaylee, Aunt Kara, and Uncle Rob. First we went to a big church event, but it was a bit too much for the girls. Halena was scared of everyone that had a mask on and at such a big event, every time we turned a corner, there was another mask.
