Pumpkin Patch

We took the girls to a pumpkin patch this weekend to pick out their pumpkins for Halloween. Every time we pass one lately Halena starts yelling "pumpkin, pumpkin" over and over for minutes on end. So she was so excited to stop. She loved walking around looking at all of the pumpkins and taking her time to find the perfect one.
It was a cool and breezy morning. Neala was funny to watch with the wind blowing in her face. She kept trying to lick the air and could not quite open her eyes all the way. We put her down to enjoy the pumpkins a little too, but she preferred to try to eat the grass that kept tickling her chin. Halena then decided to join her and see what things looked like from on her belly.
Halena thought it was a good idea to take a little break....but she did not want to sit on the ground, she though the pumpkin was a perfect seat. Neala took a break too, propped up between some pumpkins. After some great hunting, Halena and Daddy found the perfect big pumpkin. Then Halena picked out two little ones for her and Neala. She was so proud she carried them all the way home. They even sat in her room with her when she took her nap. She did not want to let them out of her sight.

  2. Two comments for you
    1) The girls are simply adorable in their matching outfits. (Adorable even without the matching outfits.)
    2) I am SO very jealous and SO very happy for you that your entire family is moving down to be close with you. There is nothing like grandparents (and aunts, too!) being able to be close to their gradkids to watch them grow! Congrats!
