Halena has her "Big Girl" bedroom all set up and we have been waiting to make the transition until she is fully ready. She loves playing in new room and has spent time sitting on her toddler bed reading books and playing. This week she took her first nap (two actually) in her new bed. Since those naps though she has decided to take naps in her crib instead, but we wanted to share this first with everyone. She was so excited to have slept in the toddler bed. We will just keep moving at her pace.
Also,
Halena got her first bike this week. She needs a little help to move along, as her feet do not reach the pedals yet. She loves bikes and definitely roped Grandma B into the bike while we were shopping (Thanks
G'ma). As soon as
Halena saw the bike and road it at the store, she was not going to leave without it.
Halena loves wearing her "bike hat" too. She even wants to wear it around when she is not on her bike. I have to say that I enjoy pushing her on the bike, because she is going to seem way to grown up when she can pedal on her own.
