Grandma and Grandpa B visit.....with Snow

G'ma and G'pa B came for a visit. They flew in from nice warm Texas, and had a taste of our winter weather. This has been the coldest winter since we have been down here, and we have had more snow this year than the last three years combined.
The girls were so excited to see G'ma and G'pa. Halena was full on energy running around loving all of the attention and Neala was showing off all of her new tricks. The girls loved all of their cuddle time. The girls love playing with their food. Halena loves to cook and make plates of food for everyone and have coffee parties with "Starbucks". Neala loves to participate by chewing on everything she can get her hands on. Here are the girls having a picnic with G'pa and coffee with G'ma.
And then the snow started....
And kept coming down. Halena was very excited to get outside in the snow, but she wanted nothing to do with walking in the snow. Her face says it all. The only way we could get her walking the snow at first was if G'pa shoveled her a path. A since she was outside, she had to swing.
She did not mind walking on the packed down snow. As long as she would not sink she was happy. After a few trips around the yard and down the road in the sled she was feeling at home in the snow. She enjoyed pulling her empty sled around too, ad finding the one spot outside where there was no snow. She was not too happy when mommy and daddy started playing the snow though. I tried to show her how to make a snow angel, but there was no way she was going to sit or lay in the snow.
Neala found the best way to enjoy the snow was from the inside. She stayed nice and cozy.
